Code10 debuted its sports’ sponsoring initiatives by supporting Poland’s national skate cross team in the Skate Cross European Championships, in Chartres, France. We also sponsored the championship itself, which held its first edition at the end of August.
Skate cross riders of all ages gathered for the U16, U19, and senior races, in two days full of speed, strategy, and agility. The Polish team secured 8 medals, an impressive result considering that the team was established only two years ago.
The competition inaugurates in France
This was the first European Skate Cross Championship to be held in the city of Chartres, France, on the scenic Place des Épars. Celebrating the event was made possible through collaboration between the French Roller and Skateboard Federation (FFRS), World Skate Europe, the city hall of Chartres, and local club C’Chartres Roller.
One hundred athletes from nine countries competed in this first continental championship. Spectators witnessed everything that makes the sport captivating: explosive starts, intense head-to-head battles, aerial maneuvers, and strategic racing through challenging obstacle courses.

Athletes race on technical courses featuring ramps, funboxes, wave sections, and sharp turns. Each heat pits four competitors against each other, with only the top two advancing through elimination rounds to the finale.
